SCAM ALERT: We have been alerted that some members of the public are receiving text messages from phone numbers and emails claiming to be from the “Ontario Courts.” These messages may include malicious links that could put your personal information at risk. Please note that the Provincial Offences Office will not contact you by text message. Do not click any suspicious links asking for ticket payment or personal information by text.

Additionally, the Ministry of the Attorney General has been made aware of an unofficial website falsely claiming to be a Government of Ontario site and requesting personal or payment information related to traffic tickets. Please ensure you access only official Ontario government or municipal websites for accurate and secure information regarding Provincial Offences.

Our Provincial Offences office handles charges under the Provincial Offences Act and municipal by-laws.
