Additional leaf and yard waste collection dates added in December
October 28, 2026 – Northumberland County is adding two additional leaf and yard waste collection dates this December, giving residents in collection Areas 3 and 4 another opportunity to clear their yards before the snow takes over.
This means there are still two leaf and yard waste collection opportunities for residents across Northumberland County this year, before the program pauses until April.

- Monday, November 9: Area 2
- Monday, November 16: Area 3
