The National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (MMIWGS2+), observed annually, honours the lives of Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit individuals affected by violence.

This day raises awareness of the ongoing crisis, promotes justice, and calls communities to action to prevent further loss and support survivors and families.
