Portion of Telephone Road to be temporarily closed at County Road 18 for construction

Cobourg, ON – September 29, 2022 – Northumberland County is advising the community that Telephone Road will be closed at County Road 18 (Burnham Street North), located in the Township of Hamilton, for approximately three weeks starting Monday, October 3, 2022.

This closure will allow for the reconstruction of a short portion of Telephone Road as part of intersection improvements underway at the intersection of Telephone Road and County Road 18.

Please drive with caution and follow the posted detour signage. Traffic to and from County Road 18 will be redirected to County Road 74 (Dale Road) and Theatre Road during the closure. We apologize for any inconvenience during construction and thank you for your patience.
