National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women

The National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. This day honours the memory of the 14 women who were murdered at Ecole Polytechnique in 1989. It serves as a reminder of the ongoing violence against women and girls, promoting action and awareness to combat gender-based violence in all forms.

Hanukkah

Hanukkah is an eight-day Jewish celebration from December 14 – 22. It commemorates the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem and the miracle of the oil that lasted eight days.
