Proclamation – Ride for Rebound, May 27, 2023

“Whereas Ride for Rebound calls attention to the need for timely, quality mental health support for children, youth, and families across Northumberland County; and

 Whereas every dollar raised through Ride for Rebound goes directly to supporting children, youth, and families in Northumberland County through the Rebound Family Wellness Hub; and

Whereas Rebound Child & Youth Services Northumberland supports over 1,400 clients throughout Northumberland County every year, working with people from every community, ranging in age from 7-18; and

Whereas the children and youth served are provided with excellent programs and services that help them find motivation for the future and paint the picture of a bright path ahead;

Now Therefore Be It Resolved That I, Warden Mandy Martin, on behalf of Northumberland County Council do hereby proclaim May 27, 2023 as ‘Ride for Rebound’ day in Northumberland County.”
