Notice Regarding Exercise-related Aircraft Debris in Northumberland County
Please see the attached Public Service Announcement from National Defence Canada, regarding the use of a limited amount of aircraft debris in this weekend’s Military Exercise in Northumberland.

April 24, 2025 – London, Ont. – National Defence / Canadian Armed Forces Canadian Army Reserve personnel from 31 Canadian Brigade Group will be conducting aircraft wreckage location and recovery training as part of Exercise TRILLIUM VENTURE, Apr 25-27, 2025.
Members of the public may see a limited amount of aircraft fuselage debris temporarily placed within the exercise area in the vicinity of Warkworth and Roseneath. The placement of these parts is a scheduled and integral component of the training scenario. All exercise-related aircraft parts will be situated on private land in a way that does not pose a risk to public safety.
Members of the public are asked not to attempt to access private property where such debris can be visible from public roads. Doing so constitutes a risk to personal safety as well as trespassing on private land.
At the conclusion of the exercise, fuselage parts will be removed from their exercise locations by authorized personnel and returned to their point of origin.
