Emergency services responding to fire at 8 King Street West, Colborne

Cobourg, ON – January 30, 2026 –  Emergency services are currently responding to a fire at a Northumberland County Housing Corporation apartment complex at 8 King Street, West in Colborne, after receiving notification just after 4:10 a.m.

County officials are on-scene and are currently confirming the location of all tenants. The Keeler Centre has been opened as an evacuation centre. The cause of the fire is not yet determined.
