10th Anniversary ‘Survivor Night’ ceremony to honour life-saving heroes

Cobourg, ON – October 23, 2025 – Members of the media are invit­ed to attend the Cobourg Lions Community Centre on October 27th for Northumberland County’s 10th Anniversary Survivor Night cere­mony. This meaningful event will recognize the courageous first re­sponders who successfully revived individuals from cardiac arrest in 2024.

The ceremony will spotlight the inspiring stories of 14 survivors, with first responders involved in these 9-1-1 calls receiving the prestigious ‘Lightning Bolt’ Certificate of Merit. In honour of the 10th anniversary of Survivor Night, recipients will also receive a commemorative ‘Rescuer’ coin.
