DESCRIPTION:Paramedic Services Week recognizes the dedication and professionalism of paramedics who provide critical emergency medical care in our communities.\n\nThis week highlights their essential role in public health and safety\, and honours their commitment to serving others in times of need.\n\nNorthumberland County Council proclaimed the week of May 17 – 23 as Paramedic Services Week read the proclamation for more information.\n Celebrate Paramedic Services Week at the Cobourg Farmers Market\nJoin the Northumberland Paramedics and EarlyON Child and Family Centres on Saturday\, May 23\, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.\, for a family-friendly morning at the Cobourg Farmers Market.\n\nKids can explore an ambulance\, meet local paramedics\, and enjoy activities led by EarlyON Northumberland. Children are encouraged to bring their favourite teddy bear or stuffed animal for a check-up with the Teddy Bear Response Team – perfect for treating “ouchies” or sniffles!\n\nDon’t miss out on a special photo opportunity between 11:00 and 12:00 with Ivy Joules\, the paramedic’s therapy dog\, and Terry the Traumasaurus – the paramedics friendly dinosaur mascot!\n\nDate and time: Saturday\, May 23 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.\n\nLocation: Cobourg Farmers Market\, Rotary Harbourfront Park\n\n
