DESCRIPTION:January 27 marks Family Literacy Day\, a time to encourage families to read\, learn together\, and celebrate the joy of shared learning and storytelling.\n\nThis year’s theme\, “Making mealtime family learning time\,” highlights how everyday moments – such as making shopping lists\, sharing stories\, or talking at the table – can support children’s learning.\n\n \n EarlyON Book Reading & Lunch with Lana Button\nFamilies with young children are invited to join EarlyON Northumberland and author Lana Button at their Cobourg location for a special reading of her book One Can\, followed by a free lunch.\n\nChildren who attend the book reading will receive a free copy of One Can\, a pair of small wooden mittens to decorate\, and a pack of crayons to take home with them (while supplies last).\n\nRegistration is required.
